Ordering methods
Payments can be made using Visa and Mastercard credit cards and by JCB, Delta, Switch and Solo debit cards.
Our order pages are through Worldpay and are therefore 100% secure. This includes anti - fraud protection and customer checks. Attempts at fraudulent purchases will be prosecuted without delay and on every occasion. In the event that an alternative delivery address is given additrional checks may be required. We cannot accept Postal Orders and other payment types as it is not possible for us to completely verify the age of the purchaser. Customers must ascertain whether local customs tariffs apply as this is not included in the charges made by The History Trader.

Age
Unfortunately we are unable to sell any bladed items to persons under the age of 18.

Damaged, faulty and lost purchases
In the unlikely event that a purchase is lost, faulty or damaged during delivery you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Faults and damage must be reported within 7 days and lost items within 20 days. periods in excess of these will not be processed by the shipping companies. The items in question together with all packing and documentation must be retained for inspection. Do not return goods without first contacting us for instructions. The cost of item returns will only be covered by the cheapest postal method.

Cancellations
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase a replacement or refund will be available on provided you inform us within 15 days. Cancellation of orders prior to despatch will incur no charge. Cancellations after your card has been charged will incur £5 administration fee and 5% of the total transaction. All returns must be made within 15 days to the address given on our contact page. All returns are at the customers risk and it is adviseable that they are insured.

Returns
The customer reserves the right to return goods within 7 days. If for any reason customers wish to return items to The History Trader please contact us at returns@historytrader.co.uk for instructions. If the item is faulty or damaged the customer will be compensated for the cost of return by means specified by The History Trader. However the customer is responsible for return shipping costs under any other circumstances.
